"In automotive, the quality system is the brand."

IATF 16949 compliance built into every workflow.

PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA work together as one quality system, not as five disconnected tools. For Tier 1, 2, and 3 automotive suppliers from 10 to 500 employees.

Five Core Tools

PPAP at the center.
Four tools orbit it.

Automotive quality is a system, not a checklist. APQP plans the work, FMEA prioritizes the risk, SPC monitors the output, and MSA validates the measurement. PPAP is what the customer sees. Cortrova unifies all five.

PPAP Submission

All 18 elements.
All five levels.

The PPAP submission package is a fixed deliverable: 18 elements per AIAG fourth edition, plus the customer-required submission level. Cortrova ships every element natively. No spreadsheet exports, no cross-system reconciliation, no missing PSW signatures.

APQP Methodology

Five phases. Five gates.

APQP runs as a phase-gate process from program kickoff to lessons learned. Each phase has a defined gate review with readiness criteria. Cortrova scores each gate automatically based on which deliverables are complete, so the program manager always knows what is blocking the next phase.

// Phase 01 01 Plan and Define Program Gate · Program kickoff
// Phase 02 02 Product Design and Development Gate · DFMEA approved
// Phase 03 03 Process Design and Development Gate · PFMEA + control plan
// Phase 04 04 Product and Process Validation Gate · PPAP submitted
// Phase 05 05 Production, Feedback, Lessons Learned Gate · Run-at-rate met
Gate Review

Each gate is scored automatically. The system calculates readiness based on deliverable completeness, action item closure, and FMEA risk priority numbers. The program manager sees which deliverables block the gate and which team owns each. No "we'll catch up next phase" surprises.
